Who these notes are by

Shobhit Nirwan co-founded Next Toppers with Prashant Kirad and Digraj Singh Rajput and anchors its mathematics teaching. Like Prashant, he built his following on free, chapter-by-chapter notes and calm board-exam explanations. This page gathers the Class 10 science notes he published for the 2022-23 session into one ordered list.

About the numbering

The set follows the 2022-23 chapter numbering, which ran to sixteen chapters. NCERT's rationalised syllabus has since dropped Periodic Classification of Elements, Sources of Energy and Management of Natural Resources, so from Life Processes onward the current chapter numbers sit one lower than the labels above.

Questions about these notes

Are Shobhit Nirwan's notes free?

Yes. Every PDF on this page is free to open and read. The files sit on Google Drive, so no sign-up or payment is involved.

Do these notes follow the current CBSE syllabus?

They were written for the 2022-23 session. Three chapters in that numbering — Periodic Classification of Elements, Sources of Energy and Management of Natural Resources — have since been dropped from the rationalised NCERT syllabus. The rest still match the Class 10 science course.

Why are two chapters missing from the list?

Sources of Energy and Management of Natural Resources were never uploaded in this set. Both are also no longer part of the rationalised syllabus, so nothing examinable is missing.
